Max's Story...
This is a courtesy listing. Please conact Jessica (516) 581-4863 or jessicadaleywhite@gmail.com. Max is currently living in New York but his family will consider out of state placement.

Max was a stray that we found on the streets of LA. He is about 5 years old, fixed, up to date on all of his shots, and in great health. He has been through a 3 week live-in-training with LA based trainer David Roe. He knows basic commands, walks well on a leash, is house-broken, and is crate trained. He is very sweet, playful, and intelligent and would be a great addition to a home without other pets or small children. He gets excited when he meets new people (but who doesn’t?); around the house he is pretty mellow. He loves to snuggle and has a favorite blanket that we will provide! He loves a good belly rub. He also loves to go on walks, runs, or hikes. If you are interested, please contact us at findmaxahome@gmail.com.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Max, a Oakland Gardens Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Oakland Gardens, or seeking a Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Oakland Gardens.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Oakland Gardens already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Oakland Gardens breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Oakland Gardens paves the way for another one to be saved.
