Jasmin is an extremely people-oriented and affectionate young kitten. She loves attention and will pester her human family to get petted - but does not care all that much to be picked up and carried around. She also gets along very well with other cats and kittens.
Status: Jasmin tested a very faint positive for FeLV on Feb 2nd. She retested negative on March 2nd. As we suspected, the initial test result was a 'false positive' due to her very young age at the time of the initial test. Whenever we have a positive test result on a very young kitten, we retest the kitten after 4 weeks to either confirm that the kitten does indeed have the virus or that the initial test was false.
Background: Jasmin was rescued from the animal shelter (OCAS) because she was too small to be accepted for either the OCAS or Pet Allicance adoption programs. She was bottle-fed for the first weeks in foster care.
What's included in the adoption fee?
All cats and kittens in the It's All About the Cats adoption program will be spayed or neutered, current on vaccines (rabies and FVRCP combo vaccines), microchipped and treated for internal and external parasites.
