My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

My name is Chewy and I’m a male Bichon mix. I’m about 3 years old and full of energy. I weigh about 14 lbs. I’m a little shy when I first meet people but once I get warmed up I’m very friendly! I’m a pretty easy going guy who just wants love.
I love to be held and have back rubs and belly rubs.
I also love to play with my foster sister, she’s silly and we play tug of war with all the toys.
It’s fun to have a playmate. I really enjoy going on walks and exploring too. We’re working on housetraining.
I haven’t been around cats or small kids so I’m not sure how I would act. I think I would like older children around 10.
I have to always know where my mom or dad is all the time. I guess my time on the streets was scary so I like to keep my people close. My foster mom calls me her shadow. I think the more comfortable I get with my surroundings will help with that.
I also sleep in the crate at night and don’t cry. I’m an all-around super guy!
Chewy needs another dog in the home or someone home most of the time. Children in the home need to be at least 10 years old. He’s located in IL
