Hi! My name is Lola. I came in with my Sister, Bella. We have been together since birth & are definitely a bonded pair. We would love to be indoor bunnies who get time out of our enclosure to hop around your home. We are completely litter box trained & very clean. We thoroughly enjoy our lettuce, apples, broccoli and carrots - but not too many fruits & veggies because they can be high in nature sugar & you know that's not good for anyone! We are very social, and enjoy being petted! We are already spayed and micro-chipped (in case we ever go missing). If you have been considering adopting a bunny, please speak with the SPCA Staff about why you should choose us. We can't wait to hop into your life.

About BC SPCA - Kelowna Branch

About Our Shelter...

See our website at www.spca.bc.ca/Kelowna for all of our current adoption prices, hours of operation, etc.

The BC SPCA is a non-profit organization dedicated to protecting and enhancing the quality of life for domestic, farm and wild animals in British Columbia. Through its locations and operations across the province the BC SPCA provides emergency medical care and sheltering for more than 37,000 animals each year. The society also conducts more than 4,600 cruelty investigations and provides a wide range of advocacy and education programs for domestic, farm and wild animals through its Provincial Office.

Our mission, vision and charter is at the heart of all we do to rescue, protect and care for animals. It is also the driving force behind our animal welfare and education programs.

Our Charter:

The BC SPCA Charter is the foundation that guides the work we do:

Whereas:

The world is inhabited by many species sharing a common ecosystem of air, earth, and water. We recognize and value our interconnectedness with all animals.

Therefore:

The BC Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals is dedicated to protecting and enhancing the quality of life for the animals of the world we share.

We pledge our energies to inspire and mobilize society to create a world in which all animals, who depend on humans for their well-being, experience, as a minimum, five essential freedoms:

1. Freedom from hunger and thirst

2. Freedom from pain, injury, and disease

3. Freedom from distress

4. Freedom from discomfort

5. Freedom to express behaviours that promote well-being.
