Perfect gentleman seeking a family to call his own! Please meet Koda! He is a 2 1/2-3 year old Bully Breed Mix. He is potty trained, crate trained, and knows his basic commands, including shake! Koda will go to the door to tell you when he is ready to go outside. He enjoys running through our fenced in back yard, and playing tug.
Koda is a very gentle dog, and does not have the typical, puppy energy level of younger bully breed mixes. Koda knows when it is time to play, but is also very calm in the house. When he wants to chew, he will happily seek out chew toys in the house, and enjoys switching between Kongs and Nylabones.
Koda will occasionally put his feet on the counter, but is easily redirected with an "Off" command. He is not really interested in jumping on people, and also takes treats gently out of your hand. Koda does very well with other dogs, and was used to temperament test dogs entering the shelter due to his calm demeanor. He walks really well on the leash, and has received many compliments on his behavior. We are working on introductions to cats, but so far, he is not overly interested in them. I cannot believe that this boy was in the SPCA for many months!?!?! Who would pass up such a good looking, well behaved gentleman?
Koda is living in a foster home with his foster parents, Allison and Nathan. Please contact them with any questions you have about Koda. They can be reached at allisonlhodge@gmail.com or 513-276-7904 (call or text).
