Happy's Story...
You can take one look at and Happy's smile and know how she got her name! Happy is an active and sweet girl who is in the program to polish her manners. Happy loves to play with other dogs and can be a little rough and tumble, so she's looking for a house with another dog who can keep up with her. Happy has only been in the program for about a week and she's already learning very quickly, but we've discovered that she may be partially deaf, which doesn't seem to affect her temperament at all. Happy is about two and a half years old and 35lbs. We think she would be great in a home with kids ages 10 and up.

Happy is receiving obedience training at a Virginia correctional center. To learn more about the Pen Pals program, please visit our website at www.fetchacure.com. Why Adoption is a Great Option

Happy, a Richmond Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Richmond, or seeking a Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Richmond.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Richmond already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Richmond breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Richmond paves the way for another one to be saved.
