Acacia was pregnant, living outside, trying to fend for herself. She was brought to a county animal control and sat in her cage, all alone and afraid. She knew she had to get out of there before something bad happened to her and her unborn babies, so she escaped her cage. She hid in the laundry room and that is where she gave birth to her babies. We can’t imagine how terrified she was. When we were contacted the next day, we knew we had to give this girl a better life. We picked her and her babies up and they went straight to a loving foster home.
Now that her babies are ready for adoption, Acacia is at the shelter, waiting for her new home. She is very shy and she still does not understand that people just want to help her. She will need time to learn to trust so a quiet home would be best for her. And because she is so shy, she will need to go to a home where another cat lives or with another Good Mews cat, so she has some feline company.
Please come meet Acacia if you think you are the right home for her.
