My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Daffodil was saved from a high kill shelter where she had been overlooked because she was shut down and in desperate need of a grooming. We saved her and now she is safe! She will need a home with an experienced owner, as she has some behavior issues. She needs to build her confidence and needs someone who will continue her training. She is a Mini Doodle, about 3-4 years old and weighs 28 pounds. Daffodil is sweet and loves attention. She is good with most dogs but does not do well with overbearing or hyper dogs. We think she would do best as an only dog where she can get the attention and training she needs. She is friendly with people and children. She is good on a leash and loves riding in the car. She is protective of her food bowl and tries to be in charge at times so she will need a strong pack leader who is calm and patient. She also does not like her nails cut or ears cleaned by people she does not know (allows her foster mom to do it) so she has to be muzzled when this gets done, but she allows grooming and brushing. Daffodil listens very well, is eager to please and is very responsive to training. We will not adopt her in a home with children. Please give this sweet girl the forever home she deserves.
