Meet Merle! This gorgeous boy is about 2 years old and feels like a soft bunny. He gets along well with other cats, and would be very lonely to be in a home by himself. He can be shy with new people and dogs, but once he knows his people, he purrs and makes biscuits and loves to be petted. If you are looking for a handsome fella who takes it slow, Merle may be your guy!

Our Adoption Process...

All AARF dogs have all received their shots, are on heartworm and flea preventative, have been spayed/neutered and microchipped. All AARF pets are fostered in loving foster homes, where they receive love and attention, beginning training and socialization. We have a group of fantastic fosters who help us to create an adoptable and healthy companion for your home.

We don't "sell" dogs here at AARF. But we do ask for a minimum adoption donation to help us cover the cost of all of the vet care the dogs have received. Effective, January 1, 2010, our adoption donation is $225 for dogs. All adoption donations are tax-deductible, and help AARF continue our rescue and adoption program.
