OZZY's Story...
OZZY IS IN A FOSTER HOME SO AN APPOINTMENT IS NEEDED TO MEET HIM!

Meet Ozzy! He is a 9 year old handsome shepherd mix. Ozzy's owner died and he found himself in a municipal shelter on the euthanasia list. Folas pulled him in the nick of time. We are glad we did. He is a mellow, mild mannered fellow. He is good with other calm dogs or would be happy as an only pet. Ozzy especially likes to be sprayed with the hose when he is not enjoying a well deserved nap after going for walks.
If you are interested in Ozzy, please fill out the online application on folas.org.

Dogs are shown by appointment only - NO EXCEPTIONS!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

OZZY, a Linden German Shepherd Dog/Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog/Labrador Retriever for sale in Linden, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog/Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Linden.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Linden already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Linden breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Linden paves the way for another one to be saved.
