What is your name?

What do you look like?
I have soft ears and a squishy face/lips, just like most American bull dogs, but I also have a unique splotchy pattern on the brown part of my fur.
What do you like to eat?
I'm only allowed to eat grain free food but i love it ALL.
What kind of personality do you have?
I can be very mellow and just sleep snuggled in a warm bed for hours...and then sometimes if I get excited want to run and JUMP! I get excited easily and am sensitive, so a mellow home would be best for me.
Describe your perfect day:
A nice walk (if we drive to get the the walk, that's even better!) and then relaxing with a Nylabone.
What is your favorite toy?
I'm learning toys are nice but I like to stick to my Nylabone.
Do you know any tricks?
I know sit and down.
What scares you?
I'm getting braver but loud noises still startle me.
Have you been around children? Do you like them?
They make me a little nervous because I don't know where they are going next. They are OK if they are old enough to be predictable. I prefer them over 12.
Do you like cats?
I think they should all be chased and maybe even barked at.
How do you feel about other dogs?
Some are OK, but I can get over excited when I see dogs I don't know.
If you could be anywhere in the world, where would it be?
In the car with my human! Driving, not driving…doesn't matter as long as we are in the car.
How is your health?
Like a lot of American Bull Dogs, I have a sensitive stomach and skin but if I get grain free food and mostly special treats (I like Stella and Chewy's), I stay healthy.
Who do you live with in your foster home and who is your closest companion?
I live with foster "mom" and "dad", other dogs and chickens. I play with my foster sister who is a husky mix and foster mom is my other favorite.

Do you like walking on a leash?
Yes and when we are in the neighborhood, I barely pull. I’m still trying to learn not to pull when we go to town but there are SO many smells and distractions that I forget.
Do you have any "not-so-great" habits that we should know about? For instance, do you bark or dig in the yard? I get overstimulated some times and will jump on people, but am learning that I get more attention when I sit or lay down.

Do you like playing in water?
I haven't seen a lake or river but the rain hurts my face so i have to squint and hang my head. I'm good for baths though and just stand there (looking sad)
What do you love about your foster family?
They got me out of a shelter where I was going to be euthanized for jumping on everyone. I was just confused and wanted to get their attention so I could leave.
