My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Please welcome the Handsome GRIMM to Saving Paws. Grimm is the LAST of the Florence Dozen Dogs (12 in one home!) to join us after their owner died. We estimate Grimm to be 3-4 years old. Like the REST of the Florence Dozen, he is social, friendly, and vocal! These dogs like to talk and sing! Grimm is in foster with our vols Eva & Terry, and they have been working hard with him. None of the Florence dogs had any training, and most had never once left the house. So they have lots to learn about the world! Eva says he is doing much better on a leash, and sometimes will sit and down. At first they had to pick him up to go for a car ride, but now he jumps in on his own. Everything is new to this guy! Grimm has been left alone in the home and caused no damage and he is housebroken. He is most likely good with other dogs, since he lived with a huge pack. He also is very tolerant and laid back, he would probably be OK with kids. This guy wants to make friends with people, and always wears a smile. These dogs have just been AMAZING. If you are an active family and are looking for an INDOOR companion, and might like to give GRIMM A FAIRYTALE ENDING (get it?) you need to fill out our online application to get the approval process in motion. We won't schedule meet & greets without an approved app on file. Here's the link:

As always, if you are interested in a Saving Paws dog, you must fill out our online application to get the approval process started. We will only schedule meet & greets with an approved application! Here is the link:

All staff members are volunteers and are not compensated for their time and expenses. Many of our volunteers juggle family, and full-time careers while volunteering at Saving Paws. Please be patient as sometimes it takes up to 5 days to process an application.
