Aspen's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and not good with cats.

Aspen's Story...
Hi! I’m ASPEN, an 8-year-old, spayed female, Husky/Shepherd mix. I’m currently being fostered by the nice people from Black Dog Walk. I spent most of my previous life tied to a fence, which wasn’t any fun, but that’s all behind me, and I am so excited to have the opportunity to go into a loving, forever home!

I am a very mellow girl that would do great with any person or family with respectful children. I still have a lot of pep in my step and would be so happy to go for walks or short hikes. I am very sweet, I absolutely love to be with people, and get along with most dogs. I do not get along with cats. I am very smart and I have good manners; I walk great on the leash, I don’t bark much at all and I do not jump up on people.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Aspen, a Ogden Husky/Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Husky/Shepherd (Unknown Type) for sale in Ogden, or seeking a Husky/Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Ogden.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Ogden already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Ogden breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Husky/Shepherd (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Husky/Shepherd (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Ogden paves the way for another one to be saved.
