About Me:    Hi, my name is Poe, short for Edgar Allen Poe.  But my foster calls me Pryia because I'm a sweet kitty and she thought I needed a sweet sounding name.    I'm a sweet, loving girl and I love cuddling!   My previous family could no longer keep me, so TCPR took me in and is helping me find my new forever home.   I do not get along with other cats, and I would do best as an only cat.   I would do ok in a home with respectful older kids.   I love playing with cats toys or cozying up in my kitty bed.  I wait patiently for my foster mom to get home from work and then I greet her at the door ready for snuggles!   I am ok being picked up and carried around like a princess.  I love food but am on a special diet - not a big deal just  urinary tract dry food to keep me healthy.   I have gorgeous black long hair - I've been told I'm quite beautiful.  If you are looking for a cat that loves to be pet, I'm your gal! My favorite thing to do is to flop down on my foster mom's leg and just chill out on her and cuddle!   I'm just a darling and would love to meet you!

I am declawed on my front paws.

About Twin Cities Pet Rescue

About Our Rescue Group...

Twin Cities Pet Rescue (TCPR) is a small, 501c3 nonprofit, companion animal rescue organization. TCPR does not have a facility and is 100% foster-based. TCPR rescues dogs, cats and small animals of all breeds; rescuing them from city impounds, puppy mills, and other situations of abuse and neglect. Once rescued, all animals receive veterinary care ranging from spay/neuter, vaccines, microchips, and basic testing to specialty eye surgeries, pet dermatology care, and various other specialty treatments. Once an animal is rescued by TCPR, it remains in a foster home until adopted, no matter how long that might take.
TCPR often rescues animals that are considered “less adoptable” by other rescue organizations, as they are often the ones overlooked and truly left behind; and in need of the most help. These animals might be overlooked due to their age, health status, special needs or breed. TCPR works to help as many animals in need find their furever families as we can, especially helping those animals that need help most.

Our Adoption Process...

All adopters complete an adoption application. If approved, we arrange a meet and greet. Cats and small animals can be adopted and go home at the time of the meet and greet after the adoption agreement is complete and adoption fee collected (which is variable based on animal type, etc). For dogs, we complete home visits and then finalize the adoption.
