Hi I’m Zoey A382658! I can be the life of the party-and by that, my foster dad says, I have the energy to keep you entertained for hours. I am still a puppy, but have a gentle heart! I love people and want to be with them all the time; especially ones that give me treats, specifically chicken jerky and head rubs. I love to give my foster dads kisses and to curl up on the dog bed or on the ottoman with my foster brother. I get along with foster brothers and sisters, but my foster dad says I can be a little bossy sometimes. I like to chase the cat, so my foster dad thinks it may not be a good idea for me to live with a cat. My foster dad gives me lots of praise for my house training; I love my crate, most of the time, it is where I get my dinner, and lots of treats. I go potty in the right spots, and play with my foster brothers and sisters nicely. I am treat motivated and can “sit” on command. I love to chew on nylabones, play with rope toys, and kong wubba’s. I would make an excellent jogging partner, my foster dad says I will need more leash training, so I don’t pull as hard. But ACS offers free training classes to help me learn! My foster dad isn’t sure what breed I am, but I have the strength and energy to keep you on your toes, so don''t be surprised if I decide to lead the way. Because of my energy level, my foster dad believes, I may do better in a home without children under the age of 12 or at least in a home with respectful children. You may have noticed my freckles and spots and one lovely blue eye with pink lips, everyone thinks I’m quite adorable, but my thin coat and sensitive skin means I am prone to sunburn. So please don’t forget to cover me up when I’m outside for a long time, and I should be kept indoors with my family! I would love a forever home full of soft beds, people who like snuggles, and give me yummy treats!
