A staff member writes: You gotta love this sweet golden girl. Friendly and a total couch potato, if you''re more into watching TV then you are running in the park, you just found your partner in crime! Why not help this golden girl live out her golden years with you!

A volunteer writes: Little kids might dream about being princesses, but as an adult I think you should dream about sharing your life with one! She might not have a crown or a fancy gown, but who needs one when you''ve got the cutest crooked teeth and sweetest frosted face? Princess was in her previous castle since she was a puppy, so she was understandably nervous when she first arrived. She has really warmed up and it is a privilege to spend time with her! She has great leash manners, checks in with soft eye contact, and seems very housebroken. She might need a slow approach, but likes to be petted, and when I stop, she inches closer to me, wags her tail, and makes it clear she''d like some more. She loves to play with toys, and her reigning favorite is a plastic bottle (so resourceful!). She''ll jump after it, toss it for herself and settle down to chew. She lets me take it to throw again, but is reported to have guarded her things in her last home. She previously lived with two of her (grown) puppies and didn''t get along with them, so she''ll need to meet first any potential canine housemates. Double-digit dogs are the best, and Princess is the cream of the crop -- please come meet this most wonderful lady at Brooklyn ACC!
