Fraser - Adopted November 2016's Story...
Adopted - November 2016

Meet Fraser!

Fraser is a 1 yr old (born approx. June 2015) Male Black DMH Cat. He’s house trained, up to date on vaccinations and neutered as well.

Fraser was dumped at a farm as a kitten with his litter mates. They tried to find homes for the kittens and succeeded for most of them but there were a few left that they just couldn’t find the right home for so they (Tobin & Brecken & Fraser) were given to a MAR volunteer.

Fraser has a beautiful long bushy tail and is a sweetie. He likes to play and loves to be petted. He really enjoys hanging out with the foster kittens in the house, he plays and cuddles with them and even “mothers” He also likes to follow the family dog around and plays with him. Fraser would definitely benefit in a forever home that has cats or dogs and humans, he really enjoys all of their company.

*Though our volunteers try their best, we cannot guarantee that any rescued animal will be a perfect match for each resident, child, or resident pet in every foster/forever home.*

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Fraser - Adopted November 2016, a Huntsville Domestic Mediumhair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Mediumhair for sale in Huntsville, or seeking a Domestic Mediumhair cat from a breeder in Huntsville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Huntsville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Huntsville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Mediumhair breeders who help with Domestic Mediumhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Huntsville paves the way for another one to be saved.
