My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Lamont is a regal senior guy who is looking for a retirement home where he can live out his golden years in comfort and style. Just take a look at his sad, sweet face. He has been at the shelter for a while now, and every time someone comes through the front door, he looks out expectantly to see if it is you, finally coming to scoop him up and take him home This deserving boy should have been home by now; we think that it is his age that is holding him back. He is a stately 12 year old fella who gets along with other cats and older children, but doesn't care much for dogs. Although he is on the shy side, he still loves being pet. He also has nice big double paws. Lamont arrived at the shelter severely matted, so his fur was shaved in spots, but it's growing back nicely. Can you give a break to this distinguished gentleman? He so much deserves a second chance and a home that he can call his own. Lamont is here at the shelter, just waiting to make your acquaintance, and then stealing your heart right after that. Lamont is eligible for our senior adoption rate of $35.00. We also offer a Senior for Senior program. This allows any senior citizen 65+ to adopt a senior cat 8+ years for a $25. fee.

The adoption fee for adult cats includes the following: spay or neuter and procedure; 1 year Rabies vaccination; distemper vaccination, microchip; and combo test of FIV (feline AIDS) and FeLV (feline leukemia). Other medical care provided might include treatments for fleas, ear mites, dental work or infections or other medical conditions. Additional kitten vaccinations will be the responsibility of the owner.
