Facts about Rocket

  • Breed: Beagle Mix
  • Color: Red/Golden/Orange/Chestnut
  • Age: Young
  • Size: Small 25 lbs (11 kg) or less
  • Sex: Male
Rocket is a two year old beagle mix that is just as cute as the day is long. He is full of energy and absolutely LOVES to play with toys. He will also talk back to you. If he is outside and you "woo woo woo" to him he will "woo woo woo" back! Rocket was housebroken in the past so we believe that he will be easy to train again. He does not go to the bathroom in his kennel. Rocket needs a family, preferably with a fenced in yard, that will be committed to giving him lots of play and exercise time. Daily walks would be a great thing for Rocket as well. Because he loves toys so much we would not recommend him to a family with young children. If you are interested in adopting Rocket please fill out an adoption application which is located under the adoption tab on our website.

About Tysor Veterinary Clinic

About Our Rescue Group...

We are a small veterinary practice located in a small town in a rural county in North Carolina. We have animals that are brought in as strays, owner surrendered, and brought to us by animal control when they have been picked up and are injured. We feel that every animals' life is worth saving and to the extent that we have room we accept these animals into our adoption program. Our staff work as a team and we are like family. We all work together to provide the best care for each animal and to treat each pet as if it were our own.

Come Meet Our Pets...

Our adoptable animals are located at our clinic and our adoption building next door to our clinic. We are usually very busy in both buildings first thing in the morning and late in the afternoon with feeding, walking, and generally taking care of our adoptable animals. While you can come any time to visit the quietest time of the day is usually from around noon to 3:30pm.

Our Adoption Process...

The adoption fee for most dogs is $150 and the adoption fee for most cats is $100. However, we sometimes have higher fees if we have information that a dog or cat is purebred. While we are happy to have you come and visit our adoptable animals at any time we would encourage you to fill our an application before you make the trip and to also check us about the best time to come to our facility. You can access our adoption application at our website, Go to the adoption tab and you will see the adoption application. We will check your previous and/or current vet reference as well as a personal reference. If you are approved and adopt an animal from us you will be asked to sign an adoption contract. If you adopt out an animal that is too young to be spayed/neutered we may require that you pay a deposit that will be refunded at the time of surgery.
