Molly in Dallas's Story...
Molly is a pretty Jack Russell Terrier mix. She is 8 years old, but still very active and energetic! Molly is up to date on all her shots; she is spayed and has a microchip. She weighs 15 pounds. She has always lived with other dogs, but prefers spending time with people. While she can sometimes be territorial of her owners, she is quite the affectionate dog, and just wants your attention and love. Molly loves kids and just melts when she sees them! However, due to her ability to jump or “bounce” quite high (especially when excited), a home with younger children may not be best. While they usually get a kick out of how high she can jump, she may accidentally knock someone over. Despite her small size, she is one tough cookie, but still needs hugs during thunderstorms! She’s loyal, loving, and just needs to find her forever home. Her current adoptive family is now traveling for work for extended periods of time, and is not home enough to give her the attention she deserves. If you are interested in making Molly a part of your family from now on, please contact Tanya at tanya.carbaugh@gmail.com or call 215-280-1992.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Molly in Dallas, a Austin Jack Russell Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Jack Russell Terrier for sale in Austin, or seeking a Jack Russell Terrier dog from a breeder in Austin.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Austin already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Austin breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Jack Russell Terrier breeders who help with Jack Russell Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Austin paves the way for another one to be saved.
