Violet is looking for a foster or adoptive home as soon as possible. Her mom is moving across the country and felt that Violet wouldn’t be too fond of the small apartment where she’s moving. She had a home lined up for her but things fell through.
Violet is about 8 years old and has a beautiful dilute calico and white coat. She is spayed and has been an indoor only cat. Violet lived with a family with children before her current home. She got along with the kids there but typically hides in her current home when kids visit. Violet has also lived as an only pet for the past few years. Her mom was told that Violet wasn’t crazy about other animals when she got her.
Violet loves to be around people, and hang out and observe the action from her bed or a comfy corner of the room. She likes to be pet, but is typically not a lap cat. She displays her excitement and happiness by rolling over on her back to show you her belly. Her favorite toy is her feather cat wand - she especially likes to bat and jump at it.
