MJ's Story...
Hi I'm MJ! My siblings and I were born on the porch of our foster mamma and she's been taking care of us ever since; but now I'm ready for a forever home!!! I am a little bit shy at first, but once I settle in I am just a curious little lovebug. My hobbies include playing with my siblings, toys, snuggling, eating and napping. I'm a big fan of the fuzzy mice, but honestly I haven't met a toy I didn't like yet. I have a GREAT purr machine - it goes on and on and on and on when I am happy. I'm hoping to find my forever family REAL soon - maybe it will be with you! My foster mamma says I will make someone a wonderful companion. I hope you'll come to see me REAL soon; give me a chance to capture your heart - 'cuz once you meet me, you're gonna wanna take me home, I promise! Maybe you'll consider one of my siblings too! Love and kitty kisses, MJ

Why Adoption is a Great Option

MJ, a Tampa Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Tampa, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Tampa.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Tampa already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Tampa breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Tampa paves the way for another one to be saved.
