Suzie's Story...
Miss Suzie has such an amazingly sweet and loving personality. You want a loyal dog? Suzie is your girl!
She is a 3 years old pit bull mixed with some herding breed and one of the best dogs ever. Shy at first but not scared, Suzie casually meets new people with small sniffs.
Suzie had her own family but due to very unfair breed bans in some cities, she was not able to stay with her family.
She is good with older kids and has shown a lot of interested in cats.
Her foster mon says Suzie plays "fun police" when first meeting a new dog but after a couple of days warms right up and plays, plays, plays!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Suzie, a Colorado Springs American Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Colorado Springs, or seeking a American Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Colorado Springs.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Colorado Springs already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Colorado Springs breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with American Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Colorado Springs paves the way for another one to be saved.
