  • Age: Adult
  • Size: Med. 26-60 lbs (12-27 kg)

Miss Suzie has such an amazingly sweet and loving personality. You want a loyal dog? Suzie is your girl!
She is a 3 years old pit bull mixed with some herding breed and one of the best dogs ever. Shy at first but not scared, Suzie casually meets new people with small sniffs.
Suzie had her own family but due to very unfair breed bans in some cities, she was not able to stay with her family.
She is great with kids. Very interested in cats.
Her foster mon says Suzie plays "fun police" when first meeting a new dog but after a couple of days warms right up and plays, plays, plays!

About iResQ RR

About Our Rescue Group...

iResQ is a foster based rescue that is new to the rescue but was founded by people who have been in rescue for many many years.
We pull dogs and cats who have been given a "euthanize date" in high kill shelters
As practiced animal rescue people, we have a naturopathic philosophy focused on building the best foundation of health for all animals in our care. We strive to build health from the ground up, stripping all negative, health inhibiting factors like; filth, mites fleas, fungus and internal parasites while at the same time flooding the body with beneficial, life enhancing nutrients pre and pro-biotics and natural herbal remedies. Within a very short time, nutritional gaps can be closed and toxins removed, recovering a strong immune system, providing the body with the tools it needs to heal itself. The result is thriving, healthy animals who are full of life and vitality.
Primarily, we realize that each being has its own unique set of needs that must be met to have the happiest,
healthiest life possible. In addition to appropriate allopathic or conventional veterinary treatment, a holistic, natural approach to wellness care is essential for your animal's long term good health. The most basic components of a healthy lifestyle include high quality food free of by-products, chemicals and other harmful ingredients, the right amount of exercise, only necessary vaccinations, and lots of love.
Fosters are always needed so we can continue saving these innocent animals.

Come Meet Our Pets...

We have adoption events every weekend in Colorado Springs and Denver/Boulder area.
We try to update when and where events are on our facebook page each week.
Our animals are in foster homes between adoption events. Contact us by e-mail to see about meeting an animal outside of an adoption event.

Our Adoption Process...

Once you have found a dog that you would like to add to your family, we have you fill out an adoption application and sign an adoption contract.
Our fees vary depending on the age of the dog and the amount of time they have been in our rescue.
All adoption fees include the pet being spayed or neutered, UTD on vaccinations, microchipped, dewormed, vet checked and 30 days of pet insurance.
If the pet has not been fixed prior to adoption, there is a Colorado State required deposit that will be returned to you once the pet has been fixed.
Please be patient with responses as all of our workers are volunteers. We try to return phone calls and e-mails within 24 hours but it may take a bit longer.
