Niki's Story...
I showed up at a nice lady house asking for food. I sat outside her house and cried until she heard my pleas. I was so hungry I ate 2 bowls of food then slept like a baby. The nice lady searched for my owners but sadly nobody was missing me.
Now comes the happy part of my story!! A nice foster family said they would keep me and make sure I had all the loves and food I want until my forever family comes and takes me home.
I'm a sweet affectionate girl who starts purring as soon as you enter the room. I sleep next to my foster mom all night long and snuggle in tight for the night.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Niki, a Tampa Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Tampa, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Tampa.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Tampa already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Tampa breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Tampa paves the way for another one to be saved.
