Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hello. My name is Triple T and there is a story that goes with my name. So have a seat and I will tell you all about how I came to be here.
In May, I was first spotted on a back road in the woods. Then I made my way to a 4 lane highway, called 322. Hence the name Triple T! Phone calls and Facebook posts started to roll in at the rescue. People were trying to catch me but I was having no part of it. With each call to the rescue of a sighting of me along the highway, volunteers would run out with hopes of catching me, but I was a wily guy and I knew the lay of the land. After days of this, it was decided I needed to be trapped. I was feeding on road kill, so I stayed close to the road and this was dangerous! But I was very hungry, so the heavy traffic and big trucks didn't faze me. The rescue and dog law enforcement worked together to set traps and check them every few hours. It was the second day when the dog law officer stopped to check the traps and spotted me at them and then I followed the food trail right into the trap! Finally, they had me! I was not happy about this confinement. I was scared, worried and nervous. Here at the rescue, I was very unsure and meeting strange people. Slowly I began to warm up and realize it wasn't so bad. I was getting three small meals each day to start. I was dewormed, given flea treatment and vetted. I am grateful for a clean, dry and safe place to sleep. I am making great friends here. I love to snuggle and have my belly rubbed! I have made a dog friend, Cindi! She too is available for adoption. Sometimes new people still make me nervous, but treats help with that! And taking me for a walk would help too! I met Ned, the resident cat, and found him boring. I like toys and can sit and give a paw. I am about 2 years old and weigh around 50 pounds. I am healthy and happy. I am a sweet boy and a favorite to several of the volunteers. I would like a forever home where I will be loved and cared for. I would like to have a happy ending to my story. Maybe you are just the person to make that happen? I promise to love you and be your loyal best friend. Call soon so we can
