My name is Sweetie Pumpkin Beckley and I am a petite female cat. I was found by my foster mom at Beckley Saner Recreation Center in South Dallas. I was living in the storage area under the bleachers. The recreation center staff thinks that I snuck in through the air ducts. I enjoy opening drawers and hiding in them. I am very skilled at being crafty.

My foster mom named me Beckley. However, her five-year-old daughter renamed me Sweetie Pumpkin. Therefore, I have a grand name of Sweetie Pumpkin Beckley. I am a companion cat. I enjoy being with my foster family in whatever room the action is occurring. I am a lap cat too. I enjoy getting loving from my foster dad while I sit in his lap while he does computer work. I sleep about half the time. Otherwise, I am involved in the family activities. I am not scared of much, not even the loud vacuum cleaner. I enjoy playing with the fishing pole that my 5 year old foster swings. I show my affection by giving sweet little licks.

I live in a household of several cats. Occasionally, I hide and then pounce on them. I prefer to live in household with one other cat or no other cats. My foster mom says that I am a terror to the other cats, but so sweet to the humans.

I’ve been spayed, had my shots, and I’ve tested negative for FeLV and FIV.

If you are interested in adopting me, please fill out the adoption application on our web site, I’ll be waiting for you!

About Animal Allies of Texas

About Our Rescue Group...

Animal Allies of Texas is a 501(c)(3) animal advocacy/rescue organization, dedicated to improving the quality of life in our community. Our goal is to build a no-kill shelter on enough land to house not only "adoptable" animals, but "treatable" ones as well - those who need medical care or behavior modification to become adoptable. While working toward this goal, we will also engage in community service and humane education projects to help bring about "humanity championed by thought."

Come Meet Our Pets...

We hold adoption events at one or more locations every week end. Please check the calendar on our web site for specific locations and times.
