Tater Tot's Story...
Tater Tot

Age: About 5 months

Status: Like my namesake, I'm an irresistible treat! I'm looking for my purrfect furever home and know that I'll find my way straight to your heart. Maybe you wanted to eat a crispy potato tater tot, but after reading this, I know you'll want to adopt ME instead!

Likes: I love everyone and everything! I love my humans, big and small (I'm great with kids); cats, old and young; I even love dogs -- who can resist those floppy, silly creatures?!

Favourite Pastime: Playing with you, of course! And I'm a strong little one, independent too. But I'd be ever so grateful if you'd play with me 🙂 While I'm not a huge cuddler as I prefer to run around the house and play with the other cats, I love being pet.

Cutest Quirk: I adore my foster parents' 18-year-old cat who is blind; I'm convinced he is my momma, and I cuddle with him all the time.

My foster mom says I'm just as sweet as can be, and very silly. I'd make an amazing companion for you and your furry friends; I should be adopted into a home with at least one other cat as I thrive with friends to play with! If you're looking to add a little Tater Tot (the furry kind) to your meal of life, please email info@teamcatrescue.ca to apply!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Tater Tot, a THORNHILL Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in THORNHILL, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in THORNHILL.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in THORNHILL already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a THORNHILL breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in THORNHILL paves the way for another one to be saved.
