My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Lucy is a friendly, happy girl who is just a little bit bigger than she should be! When she arrived at the shelter, she weighed about 95 lbs! Miss Lucy is in foster care now and on a bit of a diet, She has been doing great with the dogs she's met so far at the rescue ranch so she is also getting some good active outdoor time. She is about 6 years old and appears very healthy. Lucy is crate and house trained.

Lucy can be a bit protective of her meals; she eats in her very own private accommodations (i.e. crate) so that no other dogs or kitties can steal her food! We are working on helping her feel more relaxed about that. She is great with the cats around the house. Lucy would be fine in a home with another dog as long as she is able to eat separated and monitored around toys and treats.

Lucy was surrendered to a local shelter due to "issues with the landlord." She was very friendly at the shelter, and hopped right into her foster mom's car without a second thought.

Lucy is spayed, microchipped, tested heartworm negative, and current on her vaccinations.
