Zeva's Story...
Miss Zeva, sweetheart extraordinaire!! Zeva loves nothing more than loving! She loves to be with her peeps, any size, any age, if they love on her she is soo happy! She even smiles to show it. We call her the Itty Bitty Pittie. At about 50 lbs she is a petite, very ladylike, lover. She loves kids, is fine with cats, enjoys car rides and walks. She will need to be an only dog however, her ladylike demeanor evaporates in the presence of other canines. Other than that she is a wonderful companion! She came to us with a broken pelvis, but is healing beautifully. She knows "sit" and "crate", wouldn't you love to teach this beautiful girl more? Zeva is fostered in Madison, Al. If you are interested in meeting her email info@forrescue.net.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Zeva, a Homewood Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Homewood, or seeking a Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Homewood.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Homewood already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Homewood breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Homewood paves the way for another one to be saved.
