Piper B's Story...
Piper is a very sweet and affectionate hound mix. She is between 1 and 2 years old. She is on the smaller side, weighing 35 lbs. She loves other dogs, but most of all, she loves to be around people. She would be happiest in a home where she will be able to spend most of the day with a family member. She becomes very attached to her family members and craves companionship. She is playful and silly and she loves to eat carrots and peanut butter treats. She is a huge snuggler too. She likes to lean in and rest her head on someone’s lap. She could cuddle for hours. She just wants to be close to someone. She also loves to spend time outside in the sunshine. She would do great with an active family that could take her on outings. She doesn’t do so well with cats because she likes to chase them and she tries to play with them as if they were dogs. She’s a very smart girl and learns quickly. She is house trained, crate trained and bell trained. She is gentle and sweet with kids. She’s a great family dog!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Piper B, a Nashville Hound (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Hound (Unknown Type) for sale in Nashville, or seeking a Hound (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Nashville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Nashville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Nashville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Hound (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Hound (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Nashville paves the way for another one to be saved.
