Advanced Hero Adoption, Australian Cattle Dog & Siberian Husky mix, neutered, 5 years.
Oz lives for other dogs. He adores them! He would be overjoyed to be another dog's little brother.
He is fine with people, but prefers to be a short distance from them. Severe abuse has scarred his soul and he knows what humans are capable of.
Volunteers and staff are working to prove to him that people can be kind and nurturing. His progress is slow, so far, but he is improving.
[Oz is not eligible for adoption to a family. Instead, to err on the safe side for dog nip/bite prevention, he requires an owner with advanced behavior/training skills (such as a K-9 officer, military officer, professional trainer or behaviorist, or similar).]
