My name is Oz!

Australian Cattle Dog/Husky Mix Dog for adoption in Las Vegas, Nevada - Oz

I found a new home!
Plenty of my friends are looking
for one too. Find a pet to adopt.

Oz's Info...

I am already neutered, in need of an experienced adopter, up to date with shots, not good with kids, and good with dogs.

Oz's Story...
Advanced Hero Adoption, Australian Cattle Dog & Siberian Husky mix, neutered, 5 years.
Oz lives for other dogs. He adores them! He would be overjoyed to be another dog's little brother.
He is fine with people, but prefers to be a short distance from them. Severe abuse has scarred his soul and he knows what humans are capable of.
Volunteers and staff are working to prove to him that people can be kind and nurturing. His progress is slow, so far, but he is improving.
[Oz is not eligible for adoption to a family. Instead, to err on the safe side for dog nip/bite prevention, he requires an owner with advanced behavior/training skills (such as a K-9 officer, military officer, professional trainer or behaviorist, or similar).]

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Oz, a Las Vegas Australian Cattle Dog/Husky dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Australian Cattle Dog/Husky for sale in Las Vegas, or seeking a Australian Cattle Dog/Husky dog from a breeder in Las Vegas.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Las Vegas already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Las Vegas breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Australian Cattle Dog/Husky breeders who help with Australian Cattle Dog/Husky rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Las Vegas paves the way for another one to be saved.
