Oscar's Story...
This is Oscar. He is around 6 years old, neutered male. He has been in boarding since March. He’s a very mellow dog, but still has a happy spring in his step. Oscar is extremely loving and submissive to people, but must be an only dog, with no exceptions. We have been told he’s not good with cats, but we are unable to verify if he’s actually ever been around cats. I don’t know if he has been around children of any age. Oscar absolutely loves to have his back and belly rubbed and his favorite snack is peanut butter on baby carrots.:)

Oscar is a courtesy post for Valley Dogs Rescue. Please contact Heather if interested.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Oscar, a Gilbert American Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Gilbert, or seeking a American Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Gilbert.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Gilbert already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Gilbert breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with American Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Gilbert paves the way for another one to be saved.
