Waffles is a very sweet Belgian Malinois(BELGIAN WAFFLES!) of approximately 5 years old. She came to us as an owner surrender with a sad story. She was living 24/7 in a backyard kennel and is completely starved for attention. Waffles is very affectionate and eager to please. She is a bit shy, but so wants to be with her people, and she will stay by your side at all times. For a Mali, Waffles is really pretty mellow. Her foster reports she doesn’t bark, and that she gets along well with other dogs upon proper intro. She does have some separation anxiety (understandable!), but this should be OK with time we think – she just wants to make sure she is never living a life of solitude again! Waffles does NOT do OK in a kennel – she will do anything to get out, so her new home should know that she cannot be crated. We believe Waffles would make a really great family dog, she is just so loving. If you are looking for an INDOOR companion and might like to give WAFFLES the chance to really LIVE with the family she so desperately desires, you need to fill out our online application to get the approval process in motion.
