Dory has grown into a beautiful girl who does great with all dogs and cats, she is a little shy when she first meets you but warms up quickly and is just full of tail wags and kisses. She always has that big pittie smile when she greets you. She is great off leash and loves to go for walks and play in the water. She does need to be worked with some on a leash and will need someone to give her a little patience at first while she adjusts to life outside of the shelter after all she has never seen anything besides this environment. She is more than ready to find a family of her own and would make a great companion to a family with older kids just because younger kids seem to be loud and move quickly so this may frighten her. She is not aggressive even when she is scared just wants to hide behind someone she feels safe with. Kindly email firstname.lastname@example.org if interested.
***All of our dogs are located at our parent organization, Wynne Friends of Animals, in Arkansas. Due to unavailability of foster care in NJ/NY, meet n greet is not possible prior to adoption. We do share lots of pictures and videos with our adopters and share as much history as possible on the dogs. You will also be able to speak to the shelter staff who know the dogs very well and are great at what they do! We provide transport to Nanuet NY and Bedminster NJ at no additional cost. These are your locations for picking up your new family member. The adoption fee of $450.00 includes the cost of transport, spay/neuter, vaccinations, micro-chip and one month supply of heartworm preventative.
