Janis's Info...

Janis's Story...
Initially Janis was the shyest kitten in the Rockstar Litter, but she has quickly blossomed and come out of her shell. She and her sister Stevie are especially close! Janis is a gorgeous tuxedo cat and is approximately 12 weeks old. She loves it when humans gently scratch her belly, and she will give you plenty of kisses to make sure you never stop! Janis is also toy OBSESSED, and she will chase any sort of dangling cat toy/rope/string she sees. She is a ball of laughs. She also has gorgeous markings, including a white stripe that circles her hind right leg. Janis is so unique!

Janis is FIV/Leuk negative, microchipped, neutered, dewormed, and has had her first FVRCP vaccine. You can fill out an application for Janis here: http://forrescue.net/cat-application/. Once received, her foster mom will be in touch!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Janis, a Knoxville Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Knoxville, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Knoxville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Knoxville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Knoxville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Knoxville paves the way for another one to be saved.
