Stevie's Story...
Our favorite of the Rockstar Litter is Stevie – a feisty female tuxedo kitten who is 12 weeks old. Stevie is the boss of everyone, and she wins at every game. She and her sister Janis are VERY close! She loves whacking her siblings on the top of their heads, and she thinks it’s hilarious when she knocks things over. LOL! Despite her playfulness, she is also very affectionate with humans and seeks to be picked up and petted. Stevie should do well in an active household, as she is tough and can hold her own!

Stevie is FIV/Leuk negative, microchipped, spayed, dewormed, and has had her first FVRCP vaccine. You can fill out an application for Stevie here: http://forrescue.net/cat-application/. Once received, her foster mom will be in touch!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Stevie, a Knoxville Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Knoxville, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Knoxville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Knoxville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Knoxville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Knoxville paves the way for another one to be saved.
