Pedro's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, purebred, up to date with shots, not good with kids, good with dogs, and not good with cats.

Pedro's Story...
Hey guys, my name is Pedro, now known as Petie. I am a tall lanky 4 year old boy, black/rust, cropped and docked. My leash manners would benefit greatly from an obedience class. I sit and down nicely for food. I will do best with hopefully a fenced in yard, a playmate, children 5’ and taller with no cats please. My dream is have a family to love me and hopefully a 4-legged sibling with a backyard to romp in.
I was dumped at a shelter, but I have learned to adjust to the crate and can now sleep the entire night. I love raw soup bones and all treats. I am skinny right now, but my foster mom has been steadily fixing that.
I have energy to burn and am in no way a couch potato. I am ready to rock and roll with a family that loves me. My foster mom says I am one sweet young man who just wants to be loved.

UPDATE: My name is Petie and I have been on this list waaay too long. I am a loving sweet 4 year young black/tan cropped and docked dude, who wants nothing more than to be loved. I have gained lots of weight - no longer that scrawny lad. I know commands and work great for food. I get along with my foster mom's girl; cats unknown and just love to fly around the yard. No children under 5’ as I might accidentally knock them over. I was praying so hard for my forever home by the New Year. Alas, that did not happen. I'm so worthy of a good home. Is there no one out there for me 😢

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Pedro, a Arlington Doberman Pinscher dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Doberman Pinscher for sale in Arlington, or seeking a Doberman Pinscher dog from a breeder in Arlington.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Arlington already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Arlington breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Doberman Pinscher breeders who help with Doberman Pinscher rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Arlington paves the way for another one to be saved.
