Hi! Thanks for giving me some attention! I'd like you to know that I've already been spayed or neutered. At Animal Friends, dogs and cats also leave fully up-to-date on shots and microchipped. All I need now is to find someone who will love me. Please ask to meet with an adoption counselor, so we can be properly introduced and talk about what kind of pet you're looking for. We can discuss whether you're looking for a lap pet or a social butterfly, an 'only pet' or a furry 'sibling' for kids or other animals. Best of all, by adopting from Animal Friends, you make it possible for them to rescue and care for another pet who truly needs help. So, what are you waiting for? Let's sit down together! *****************************************************

Ringo came to Animal Friends from a hoarding situation in September of 2015. The dog warden rescued Ringo with his mom and other siblings who were all living in squalid conditions. Ringo had never been socialized with people as a puppy and unfortunately had not been exposed to indoor living. Therefore, Ringo is initially very fearful of new people, noises and surroundings. We recommend a home with children 15+ years of age.

It took over four months of dedicated and patient work from staff and volunteers to win Ringo over and teach him how to trust. With those he knows, Ringo is very sweet and loving, and has even become friendly and playful. Once he feels comfortable, he is such goofy dog! Ringo loves toys and takes treats very nicely. He gets along well with most female dogs and laid-back male dogs. Ringo isn''t a fan of small dogs or cats.

Ringo will need very patient and understanding owners who will allow him the time necessary for him to become comfortable. He will most likely never be a dog who tolerates parties or group gatherings, and because he has lived most of his life outside he lacks a lot of skills that seem normal to a house dog. Patience and consistency will be key to his success in a home.

Someone believes in Ringo so much that that they have sponsored his adoption, so he really is priceless!

Please ask to meet with an adoption counselor, so we can be properly introduced and talk about what kind of pet you''re looking for!
