Lucas's Story...
Little Lucas is one of those "too cute" kittens. It's hard to believe that he was abandoned in someone's yard to fend for himself at such a young age.
He has a sunny, outgoing personality and seems to always have a little smile on his face..
Lucas is a cuddle bug and loves nothing more than spending time with people-well that, and playing with other kitten friends in his foster home.
He runs forward when his name is called ready for whatever the day may bring.
He is great with other cats, children and adults and would likely make fast friends with a canine companion given his young age.
He has a mostly white soft coat with interesting deep orange markings on his back.

Lucas tested neg for FeLV/FIV, up to date vaccines, litter box trained. Neuter will be covered as part of adoption fee.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lucas, a Bloomsburg Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Bloomsburg, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Bloomsburg.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Bloomsburg already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Bloomsburg breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Bloomsburg paves the way for another one to be saved.
