Unfortunately due to some personal circumstances the family who adopted our Wishful (now Daisy) 2 years ago has to return her. She has been nothing but a DREAM DOG for this family and they are heartbroken. She is good with other dogs, cats and kids.
She is a tripod due to an injury of her leg that FIDO needed to amputate when she came to us in 2014 but she gets along great.
Daisy is now 6 years old and 70 lbs. Can your family give her the loving home she deserves for the rest of her life?
Adoption fee 125.00

About FIDO's Companion Rescue Inc

About Our Rescue Group...

We operate out of Avon, Ohio. We primarily rescue dogs from the Lorain County Dog Kennel and other Dog Pounds before they are put to sleep. We secondarily assist with taking in homeless stray dogs and funding the spay/neuter of homeless dogs and cats for other independent local rescuers and vet clinics who take them in off the street and work to rehome them. Lastly, we provide and fund the transportation for all adopted dogs going to vet clinics for the Mandatory Spay & Neuter Program at the Lorain County Dog Kennel.

Come Meet Our Pets...

We do not have a shelter. Our rescued animals are kept in foster homes or boarding facilities primarily on the west side of Cleveland until loving forever homes can be found. Please remember we are all VOLUNTEERS who work full-time jobs. We will do our best to return your emails/calls within 24 hours.

Our Adoption Process...

If you wish to adopt one of our great pets, go to our website at and submit an application on our adoption page. Once your application is submitted and approved, we can set up a time for you to meet the dog(s) you are interested in. We do not operate on a first come, first serve basis. We strive to find the most compatible home for our dogs and look for adopters who are certain they want to make a lifetime commitment to our rescued dogs. We also require a home visit as a part of our adoption process. If we do not have an animal that interests you, we may be able to help put you in contact with the many other organizations with which we network. ADOPTION FEES - Individual fees apply based on each dog rescued. See individual dog's bio for adoption fees that apply.
