Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Dewey! He’s just a laid back coon hound looking for some love. This handsome fella is easy going and great with people. He loves long walks or jogs and does well on a leash. He has had some clicker training and is very motivated by treats! He also knows commands for ‘Sit’, ‘Kennel’, and is working on ‘Down’. He is fully housebroken and crate-trained. He plays well with other dogs, but would also be content as an only dog. He enjoys playing fetch in the backyard, but only brings his toy back if you have another one ready to throw! Dewey likes to talk, and he’ll let you know if someone comes by or if he sees a squirrel on a walk that you may have missed. This cutie was turned into the shelter, but luckily his foster mom has a soft spot for hounds. Dewey is about 2 years old, approximately 60lbs, neutered, fully vaccinated, and current on heartworm and flea prevention. He is being fostered in north Alabama, but is available for adoption to your area.
