Sasha is looking for you to take her to your home.  She is a warm and friendly, 7 year old and 80 pound dog.  She knows her basic commands (sit, stay, down) and is house trained.  Sasha loves being petted.  If you quit petting her, it is not unusual for her for bounce your hand with her nose so that you will continue.  She is great with her foster parents' four year old grandchildren who have taken her for walks in the back yard.  She is patient and gentle with children.

In her journey, Sasha has had a rough road with men.   She is very afraid of men with facial hair.  This is a bit of a problem since her foster dad has a beard.  We have made progress, and she will now take treats from him, but is nervous when he enters a room.  Sasha barks when she is nervous but can easily be distracted.   Our son-in-law does not have facial hair, Sasha more readily takes treats from him.
Sasha follows her foster mom around the house.  She even sleeps on the floor on her side of the bed.  There are  3 other dogs in her foster home – 3 lab mixes.  After a brief introduction she gets along well with them.  She has not been around cats while in foster care, but she can be cat tested if needed.
