Kaya is a young adult female pocket pit. She is about 45 to 50 pounds. Although she is all white she has no issues with her hearing or sight. Kaya is a very friendly and affectionate dog. She loves to cuddle and will become your shadow. She is very well behaved, housebroken, crate trained, knows her basic commands, and walks well on a leash. She does fine with small caged pets and is okay with cats once she gets used to them. She would do really well as an only dog but is okay with smaller dogs and other more submissive dogs. She lives with two other dogs and is just fine but it does take a slow introduction, once she is used to the dog she is fine. Kaya does great with people, even small children, and is very tolerant, she has never given any issues with her ears cleaned or nails trimmed either. She came from an abusive situation and has warmed up and become a great dog. She has been in the rescue for a while now and would really love to find her forever home.

She is up to date on her vaccinations, heartworm and fecal negative, spayed, and has a microchip.

Her adoption fee is $250

If you're interested in adopting her, please go to www.furangelsas.com and fill out our online adoption application.
Kaya, American Pit Bull Terrier has been shared from Shelter Exchange.

About Fur Angels Animal Sanctuary

About Our Rescue Group...

I got involved with rescue work out of love for animals. I had decided to set up my own rescue. I serve mostly deaf animals because they are first to be put down and are usually deemed untrainable, unadoptable and unlovable. I didn't feel this was right or fair.

Our Adoption Process...

We are a small rescue who cares for all our pets in
foster homes. We do NOT have a facility & all animals
are seen by appointment only, after an application has
been approved.
Dogs' adoption fee includes vetting, spaying/neutering, and any health care they may need. For some dogs, the fee may be reduced for reasons that can be made available. Cats' adoption fee include vetting, spaying/neutering, and any health care. All are heartworm negative. We require all possible adopters to fill out an adoption application, and to submit themselves to home visits by staff or volunteers, or by local rescues. Vet reference will be required and will be used. Upon adopting, an adoption contract will be signed. Call me or email to start this process.
