Landers- this baby has a story. Female ~18 months old. and around 50 lbs. Landers was possibly dumped at Landers Dealership in Bossier City. Nobody could catch her. The funny thing is this same scenario happened a few months back with another dog we caught named Harley. Harley was finally caught and has been adopted (she's in a picture with Landers) They look very similar. Well it had been about 3 weeks and nobody could catch Landers. One day the famous Braveheart came to the rescue! (If you don't know him you could search his name or find their facebook page A Voice For Braveheart) Anyhow, Brave helped catch sweet Landers! (see in pictures) We finally had her! Landers is now in foster care. She is learning COME and SIT constantly hahaha!!!!! Her foster is working with her on commands. She is VERY playful with other dogs. All around great personality. Puppy like.
Landers is just too beautiful . She has a great personality. I see a very neat connection with her and her foster. Meaning she will bond great with her caretaker. She is treat motivated and ready for learning! She knows some commands already too.
Landers was found dumped by Landers Dodge in Bossier City... she was unable to be caught for weeks. Would y'all believe me if I told you this dog can now walk outside without the leash held. (Throwing a don't try this at home sign on here lol) but my point is she has come a long way. We need a family that can give her attention and spend time with her. She does need watched well as we don't want a relapse of the past. Landers is young and heartworm negative. Feel free to ask about her!
Vetting: Landers is heartworm negative and on preventative. She is spayed, up to date on shots, microchipped, fecals done and on flea/tick prevention. Her adoption fee is $100. Any interested in her may fill out an application at www.adoptapet.com/rockersrescue/adoptionapp/ and please include any extra information that you can about your home and pets etc. Landers is a precious girl that deserves a precious loving home.
Some reviews I snagged out of comments on her pics from people that have met her:
REVIEW 1: She's a beautiful girl! The perfect family is out there for her. Sometimes it just takes a while.
REVIEW 2: Landers is so sweet and gentle. This is the second time I've gotten to love on her a little. Someone interested in her just needs to meet her and spend a little time with her to see what I mean. She loves to be petted and she is not demanding at the same time. She has a great balance to her personality. Ya'll have done a great job with her! So well behaved and wore that hula girl costume like a champ! She would make someone a wonderful family member.
REVIEW 3: I love Landers and she is a well behaved and absolutely gorgeous girl !!
