Skye's Info...

Skye's Story...
How adorable is Skye?! She is equally as lovable! She eagerly greets us humans with her wiggly butt, happy, smiling face and for some a kiss! She's a big gal but is fairly easy to manage on the leash. She enjoys walks with us and can even go for a jog too if you like. She gets along well with other dogs, even small ones that are barking and growling at her. They need not worry! Skye is a big dog but friendly to all.

She likes to play with toys, is an excellent car rider and if you're hanging out at the park, she'll happily lay near you watching the world go by. Skye also knows basic commands too and overall is a well behaved girl.

Skye is looking for a home with daily walks, plenty of snuggle time mixed in with play time with toys and it would be a bonus if she could have some car ride adventures up north to escape the heat. If you're looking for a laid back canine friend who has a lot of love to give, look no further! Fill out an application for our black and white beauty today!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Skye, a Phoenix Australian Shepherd dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Australian Shepherd for sale in Phoenix, or seeking a Australian Shepherd dog from a breeder in Phoenix.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Phoenix already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Phoenix breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Australian Shepherd breeders who help with Australian Shepherd rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Phoenix paves the way for another one to be saved.
