Victory's Story...
Hello! Liberty (black and white male) and Victory (tuxedo girl) are siblings who were part of a litter rescued from West Virginia and have an estimated birthday of 5/2/2016. They are a BONDED PAIR so they need to be adopted together or they will be heartbroken.

Liberty tends to be a laid back gentleman. He is sweet and cuddly with his humans and his siblings. He is very friendly with other cats in the house and wants to play with everyone. He plays with a variety of toys although the track ball and tent are his favorites, and likes to chase and wrestle with other kittens.

Victory took a little more time to settle into her foster home, but once she did she became the sweetest little girl! She purrs all the time and loves to give kisses. She adores her brother and follows him wherever he leads. She plays with any toys that can be tossed around, or whatever her brother is playing with.

When it’s naptime, Liberty and Victory like to curl up on their favorite blanket together.

Liberty and Victory are both up to date on their vaccines, tested negative for FeLV and FIV, and have been micro chipped. Liberty has been neutered and Victory has been spayed.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Victory, a Merrifield Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Merrifield, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Merrifield.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Merrifield already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Merrifield breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Merrifield paves the way for another one to be saved.
