Look up the word “awesome” and you’ll probably find Levi’s picture there. That’s the first word his foster used to describe him… then came funny, smart and a great cuddler. This friendly boy came from a shelter in a BSL town where his time was up. Levi is only a year old and because he may have some Pit Bull in him, he was about to lose his life! Levi is friendly to all people and gets along great with other dogs. He hasn’t met a cat on our watch yet, but will be cat tested if needed. He is young, weighs about 35 lbs., and has lots of energy, so he is looking for a home with a fenced yard and someone to play with. Levi is a fast learner and he knows a few of his basic commands and is working on learning more, including improving his leash skills. Levi enjoys his training sessions and wants to please his person, so we expect him to be a wonderful family pet. He is house-trained and will go to the door when he needs to go out. He is very comfortable in his crate and likes to take his naps there. Levi is not toy or food aggressive and he loves to play with other dogs. He can play a little rough, so we suggest dogs his size or larger who don’t mind his bunny hopping around them. When in the house, Levi likes to keep an eye on his foster to make sure he isn’t missing out on anything. He enjoys sitting by her side and snuggling up for some petting when ever he can, but he isn’t overly pushy about it. If you are looking for an awesome dog and are willing to continue his training, Levi could be the one for you.
