Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Liberty is a darling, fuzzy-faced girl with a charming personality. She loves walks, special treats, and just chilling with people. If you sit, she finds a comfortable place close by and lays down. If you talk to her through the fence, she reaches for you with her paw. Liberty likes other dogs, and enjoys playing if they are not too rough. If they are too active for her, she just leaves. She avoids or is indifferent to cats. Liberty walks very nicely on a leash. She occasionally gets excited and races around her handler, then has a good roll in the grass. She knows “sit,” and will lay down when lured with a treat. She is learning “wait” at the gate. She does not particularly care for being restrained. She struggles and wiggles for tasks like nail trimming, but we are working with her and expect improvement. Liberty will occasionally startle at a loud noise or something unusual, but she recovers almost immediately and will investigate whatever frightened her. Liberty rides quietly in a crate in a car. She will get in a vehicle by herself and rides quietly even if she is not restrained. She is leery of entering a crate on the ground, but is learning with the help of high-value treats. Liberty is house-trained. She is well-adjusted without obvious anxieties or issues. She should transition easily into most any loving home. Liberty has an adoption pending.
