Agatha is a gorgeous, large, spayed female around two years old in August 2016. She came to us terribly frightened and she is now in a TLC foster site where she receives love, special care, handling and attention. She will require a special loving and patient family to help her understand that she is loved and safe. She's finally able to show happiness at breakfast every morning, coming over for her greens! She actually enjoys being touched and petted now too. She is still a bit shy. That’s OK. We understand.

The best news: She has recovered from her fear of being hit. Agatha must have been hit or harmed in some way in the past. When she arrived she was so scared of anyone reaching towards her or even handing her food. Agatha was basically afraid of all humans. In the past she turned her head to the side and ducked down low anytime you would approach her. She was cowering. Now, if you have something in your hand, she anticipates a treat instead. She has also learned to us her litter box and appreciates her food and water dishes and big hay basket. She loves her hay! Here’s to her happiness.
