Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Two-year-old Shelby has been a resident at Home Fur Good for a year now. She has matured into an engaging and intelligent dog. Shelby’s training began with an eight-week Basic Obedience class. She loves to please and craves activity; the class environment actually became Shelby’s happy place. After performing a command, Shelby will look at you with her childlike innocence, waiting to hear that she is a good dog. She did so well in class that she continued her education by going home with the trainer for personalized learning. Shelby worked hard and earned her Canine Good Citizen Certification, which is the gold standard for dog behavior. She passed a ten-phase test that included accepting a friendly stranger, sitting politely for petting, loose-lead walking, and reacting correctly to distractions. Shelby is good with other dogs (and even with cats!); she does have an in-your-face style of playing that may not suit all dogs. However, her playmates range from her size to half her size, and if the dog is outgoing and playful then they will get along great.
